One of the things I did with my newlywed clients was also help them pick a color for their living room. They wound up going with Edit: Sherwin Williams Restrained Gold. You can see from the first two pictures below that it is an off-white or bone color.
The wall color is also in their sofa and loveseat {as well as the coordinating pillows}.
There are five windows in this bay ~ 10 panels, 10 short decorative rods.
Just changing the wall color already made a difference. Here we are starting to mount the hardware for the drapery.
Note the height.
These sage green {a green with gray in them} drapes are another store bought window treatment. They are from JC Penney and are 96 inches long.
It looks just beautiful in person and really makes a dramatic difference from the before.
I think this is my favorite room so far. I still have the den to finish, so that may change!
Love it! I’m pretty sure the client does, too!

A beautiful window made even more beautiful! Great job and yes I would love to know the paint color name if you get it! Very nice!
Love the way you hung the drapes from just below the crown mold...really makes a statement and frames the window area just right. Beautiful!
Hi Kathy. The paint really made the room pop. And I love the way the drapes make it look even more rounded. Wonderful job!
Happy New Year. Tracy
I would love to know which drapes you order from JCP. That is the exact look that I am going for in my bedroom. Can you email me the name at rgjacobtcu@hotmail.com
Hi Kathy! Great color scheme...very warm. That house is fantastic....love all the windows!
I love the color they chose. Is it by any chance Benjamin Moore's Chestertown Buff? I had that color in my last home and have used it for some consults I've done in the past. The curtains look dramatic and beautiful and the height is perfect :). Looking forward to seeing the den.
Love the drapes! They look amazing. I am gonna send you some pictures of my crazily shaped living room with the 3 sets of double windows....the windows look out to the front sun porch and the carport. It makes for a sorta dark room...not to mention the nosey neighbors that make blinds mandatory. You can see STRAIGHT in this living room at night...I was feeling claustrophobic with the drapes that were in here, so now I have NOTHING up....just pretty old windows. I am about to redo this room.....I'm taking out the leather and adding some slipcovered pieces....gonna use some toile, checks, and something fun to coordinate... I don't know WHAT To do with these windows that will add color but not take any bit of the teeny tiny bit of natural light we get...see? I have a window dilemma....HELP!
Beautiful wall color and the drapes are stunning. I love that they are hung to the ceiling. Really creates drama and elegance. Hugs, Marty
What a big difference, it looks great !
So dramatic and beautiful! Love the warm wall color.

Beautiful job dear Kathy...I think the shape of this room is beautiful itself...the sofa is gorgeous as well and the drapes look fabulous!
I love drapes...picking the right drapes for a room can make a huge difference and it makes every room so cozy...
Congrats!
Happy New year dear Kathy!
Kathy~ what a beautifully grand statement the finished result is.
I love rich textures and colors in drapes. I especially like when they pool/puddle on the floor. The whole look changed to a more elegant setting.
I'm looking forward to seeing more.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
This is stunning Kathy. I love restrained gold. I had it on my ceiling in my dining room in the last house we owned. it was gorgeous. They are lucky to have you! You made those ready mades look like custom drapes!
