A Few Gifts

Besides spending the day with loved ones, I got a few things for Christmas that I’ve been wanting.  First was this black and white throw.

It is so soft!  I can’t wait for a cold winter day where I have nothing to do except sit with a good book, a cup of hot chocolate and use this throw.

I’ve also been wanting some of the Mark Roberts’ fairies for a few years now and got two of the small ones this year.  Love ‘em! Next year I’ll have fun finding a real place for them.

We kept things simple this year, hubby and I, since we have bought a few things since our move.  How about you?  Did you get something you’ve been wanting?

I finally got a printer and it works:)

Hi Kathy,
I love the beautiful throw. It's so you!!!
I also love the Mark Roberts fairies. My sister collects them and they are so expensive. The bigger they are the more they cost! LOL! There is a Christmas Shop here that sells them all year round. I bought her the kitchen fairy and he's a cutie.

I love the throw! It's perfect for your new home! I also love your Mark Robert's fairies! They're adorable! Don't laugh too hard, I got a security camera system for the house. With a glass front door there is hardly any place I can go to see who's at the without being seen. Now, I can tell who's there before I answer the door! A real sign of the times! I guess a new front door would have been easier! LOL!

That black and white throw is beautiful! Very unique. And I love the Marc Robert's Santa Fairies. I have one big one and two small ones. I forgot to ask for one this year!! Love the two you got this year.

Love that throw, and who doesn't relish a few hours in a cozy chair with a throw and hot chocolate and a good book. Make time! We flnally got a flat screen TV - it's so much more attractive! Linda

The throw is beautiful, Kathy...perfect for a cold, snowy winter! I love the fairies, too. It will be nice to open your boxes and bins next year and see them!

Have a wonderful day!

Hi Kathy,

Thanks for stopping by to say hello. I suspected that "stragglers" were a universal phenomenon--thanks for confirming ;)

Looks like you got some cute holiday loot! I got Michael's Crafts gift cards--can't wait to use 'em!

WE did the same thing, kept it simple. Simple is best I think. But then the day after Christmas I walked into Costco for milk and coffee and came out with a new camera! Go figure.
