When I was moving things around in my whites cabinet, I realized that some of the pieces are the same size and can’t be easily seen.
I thought it would be a great solution if I could find something to raise a few of them up. I found I had these wood discs {that were originally for another project} and a few glass candle sticks from the dollar store.
I painted the wood pieces in Pure White chalk paint and attached them to the glass candlesticks.
I put them in my whites cabinet and raised a few of those pieces up. Here is a before.
After, with the riser. I was able to use the space better and move the matching creamer near its sugar bowl. Plus, I made a little more room for any new pieces I find to add in {because apparently I have a thing for little white creamers}.
Here’s a second one I added to the shelf above.
I still have the third one to put to use. It adds some height to the items in the cabinet, while being unobtrusive, and now I can see all the pieces that I think are so pretty!

Love the idea of raising the back pieces...I did that with my glasses, I put a thick square board in the back and covered with drawer paper, sure could fit more and looks so much nicer, like yours...
GREAT idea, Kathy! What a perfect solution!!! xo Diana

That is a great idea! Your white pieces are so pretty.
What a great idea Kathy! I'm stealing this idea! Enjoy your evening, Gail
That's a great idea! I have a few wooden ones I use and I often use a teacup with a plate on top as temporary riser.

Dearest Kathy,
Very clever idea you used here! It works as a charm...
Hugs to you,
Mariette
You are very clever. What a great idea to show off the stuff in the back.
Cute risers, Kathy. Great idea.
OMG! I love this idea so much. We have the plastic acrylic risers that I use at work all the time and am always wishing I had some for home because so many times I need just a bit more height. Yours are not only much more stylish, but they also encompass the clear aspect by using the candlesticks. I am going to have to steal your idea as well. Thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful and economical idea. I love it!!!
Clever idea! It really opens it up in there so you can see all the wonderful pieces better.
such a great idea, and the glass bases virtually disappear! tfs, kathy:)
Great idea and your cabinet is lovely. Thanks so much for sharing. New follower who will visit often.

This is a great idea, and how pretty is your cabinet?
hanks for sharing this idea.
What a clever idea!!! It looks great!
Great idea! Your display is beautiful. The stands you made would make great cupcake stands too when they're not being used as risers!
Great idea, Kath~ it gives you so much more depth perception in the cabinet. Invite me over so I can see it all in person! LOL
Call me when you get to feeling better- we need an outing.
Problem solved..looks great
Great idea using what you had on hand. Now you have more room in the cabinet for more small white pitchers! Winner, winner, chicken dinner!
Great idea! I'm now realizing I have the same issue!! I have to go scour my house now for something to make platforms from! Thanks for sharing!

Now, isn't that a clever idea! I really like the way the added height helps highlight those particular items. Good job, Kathy!
Great idea, Kathy! The clear candle sticks are a brilliant way to add height without drawing attention to the risers. A few small creamers have found their way into my home as well- I'll have to remember this if they continue to multiply. :)
This is a great display idea. Very nice. I fight this problem constantly with my rose china.
First of all, your cabinet with your white pieces is so beautiful! I love your idea of the little stands! Looks wonderful.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
So clever! Looks good, it doesn't take much space and the back pieces can be seen!
What a truly original idea! Your cabinet display is wonderful!
Great idea! Love all the white. Classy.
