Spring Cloche Party

With the Spring linky parties going on this week, I’m posting earlier today than I normally do to try and avoid too much overlap of posts.

Some of my cloches and apothecary jars are new, some I’ve updated just a little bit, and others some of you have seen before, but I’m including them in case some of you haven’t seen them.

I’ve had this lidded jar dressed up with this nest, eggs, and moss for some time now.  To give it a little different look, I added in one of these really lovely birds with nest tags.  It looks like a page from a beautiful old book {in miniature}.

I took the lid off so you can see it a little better.

I was out with my friend Sue this past week and one of the treasures I found was this little “chocolate” bunny statue.  Just the right size for me to incorporate into a vignette and/or a cloche.

I added a few little eggs that actually came with another little treasure I picked up while we were out.  Here is the back view.

My black and white bunnies on the other living room side table are perfect and ready for Spring and Easter.  They will stay here for awhile because I love bunnies and my living room is black and white.

Not too long ago, I showed my PB Santos ornament under glass.

She sits next to the new chocolate bunny.  I still haven’t clipped her hanger ring off yet.

I still have my cork filled cloche.

I love this one and I’m not even a big fan of wine!

I did make one change here that probably isn’t easily evident.  I changed out the thin pedestal piece and replaced it with a pillar candle holder I found at Goodwill. The stand was too thin and was an accident waiting to happen.

I still have my mini cloches filled with eggs on a tray in my master, although I may have to find them a new home as they really don’t go with the Duck Egg.

In our master bathroom, I’ve had these apothecary jars filled with soap eggs for awhile now.

I love them just the way they are, so they never change.  I tend to be that way ~ if I get something the way I like it, it stays that way!

Finally, is this little cloche I put together with a few different glass pieces I find at Goodwill a couple of years ago.  It is very simply decorated with a nest and egg, and sits in the guest bedroom.   I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone else has come up with!

I’m linking up with Marty’s Cloche Party for the Egg-xellent Spring Party.  I’m offering a giveaway over at Marty’s to my Etsy shop, so make sure you visit her blog to enter.  I’m also offering 10% off in my Etsy until Wednesday, March 21, 2012; use code MARTYSCLOCHEPARTY!

My favorite are your black and white bunnies. How cute are these!
Thank dear friend for coming by and leaving me such a beautiful comment today.
I cried when I read it. Your always there for me and I adore you.
It has been a rough month waiting on the results of Clint's test and then to find he has a kidney disease has just left me almost sick with worry but I do believe in the power of prayers. So I feel that he will be okay. We should get the rest of the results maybe by tomorrow.
Thanks for being such a dear friend

Mr. Chocolate Bunny sure looks pretty under glass, Kathy. Glad you saw him! Are those Fitz and Floyd bunnies? They look similar to a bunny plate that I have. Luv those tiny egg cloches-

I hear ya! I leave things longer then some if I love them too. I have wanted some of those soap eggs in an apothecary jar for some time now. I think they are just divine. I also love the flower petal soaps in apothecary jars too from Gianna Rose but am waiting to find a deal on them. I may be waiting awhile huh? LOL! All of your cloches are so pretty. I love that several of them even have wonderfully pretty display bottoms like the one with the checkered bottom and the music sheets. I'm sure you did those yourself they are fantastic!

Kathy, I linked back to this post on my latest post about my little Easter display. You inspired me to make my own Easter cloche! I hope you don't mind! ~ Jamie

Where did you get your mini cloches with the beaded edges? Thanks

Liz said...

Thank you so much Kathy! I've never left a comment before so I didn't know how it worked, but I'm glad you were able to find me! I love those mini cloches and I had seen them before but just could not track them down. It looks like you can't order them directly from the website, and that you have to buy them through a house party sale or ebay. Does that sound about right?
