Quick Last Minute Gift

This is a quick last minute gift but also a project I had been wanting to try for some time after seeing it at Kim at Twice Remembered's blog. You can do any color scheme for this project and I was able to use some small scrap pieces of scrapbook paper.

I spray painted six clothespins black last night and used the hanger tip that Kim gives. It worked out great, allowing me to get to each area with the paint. This morning I got my papers together and cut the strips one for each side of the clothes pin.

I used Mod Podge {on the clothes pin} and put the paper on one side at a time. Then did a top coat of Mod Podge.

I cut a magnet sheet into pieces that I could attach to the back. I decided to use these on my refrigerator for now, but you don't have to put magnets on them. If you check out Kim's post you will see how she is using them.

Here they are on said refrigerator. And look, there is the sonogram picture of the little peanut that is my grandchild!

These were so quick and easy, I decided to paint six more with white spray paint and covered them in baby themed scrapbook paper for my daughter.

Love 'em, Kathy! I want to do these. Hope I can find the time before C'mas. I'd like to use this idea to hang rec'd C'mas cards on the frig.

I'm sure the snow's hit you guys by now. It's been snowing here in Delaware for around 17 hours now. It's still coming down!

Enjoy it if you can.

Those are SUPER cute! I'm thinking pretty much every craft you do from here on out is going to have a baby version if possible, right? :-) That's awesome!

I've loved those since I saw them at Kim's also. Aren't they great?
I've thought about making them so many times, but haven't found clothespins that are very sturdy anywhere around here.

that's a great idea to use them for baby stuff. If you clip pictures in the,, it makes it super=dooper easy to change them out as you take new pictures.

PS I was thinking I was reading incorrectly, how in the world do you have a grandchild?! LOL You only look like you're in your 20s in your default picture!

Thank you, Kati! That picture was taken in March of this year (just so you don't think I'm trying to pass off an old picture!). Make-up is a wonderful thing AND a professional photographer. I always decline any touch-ups they want to do because I use this for my website, and I want clients to actually recognize me when I show up at their homes!
