Fabric Finds

I went to Joann’s the other day to get some more Christmas fabric for my tea towel ruffles and some pillow backs.  I found this great French Christmas one, which I will use for a few small pillow backs.

I also wanted to pick up some more Osnaberg fabric and this is over by the burlap.  As soon as I walked over there, my eyes found this new burlap they got in.

A damask burlap!  It’s beautiful isn’t it?

I’m going to use this one on a memo board and I think I have a ribbon that will go with it perfectly.

Good Morning Kathy, What gorgeous material, I especially love the red french themed piece. I visited Jo-Ann's a couple of years ago when I visited Atlanta, do you know the place was so huge I could not take it all in and had to ask my daughter if we could leave because I felt so overwhelmed. We went for a cup of coffee, and returned. I had never seen such a huge store before, consequently I did adjust and enjoyed buying material to bring home. Have a lovely day. Daphne

gorgeous! There is sadly no Jo-Ann's in Canada, but you know, I did see that they now ship here. Hmmm, may have to try out that service with these gorgeous fabrics! They would be perfect pillows for my sofa this holiday season =)

Wow! That's one gorgeous burlap! I had wondered how long it would take for them to start printing patterns on burlap since it's so common to do so now.
Love the red frenchy fabric too. Makes me want to go to Joann's! The closest one is about an hour away though!

Love both of these fabrics, especially that gorgeous damask style burlap.
We don't have Joann's in the UK but there are some great fabrics around with Parisien or London themes and maps.

Gosh I wish we had a Joann's here because I do love both of these fabrics.
These are both going to be so pretty when you get finished with your projects.
I think of you often wondering what your making and how your doing.
I sure miss keeping up with you.
Hopefully this winter things will slow down a little so I can get back into visiting my friends more.
You always find the best things.
Love ya
Maggie

They're both so pretty! I've never seen a damask design on burlap before. That's neat! I like the idea of using it on a message center. That will be pretty.

I have that same red fabric and love it. Have used it on some pillows. Love the burlap - haven't seen it yet. Doesn't it just give you goosebumps to walk into a fabric store and see something you just have to have? Some call it an addiction but I really don't think so. ha
