Well, not really love letters. It is French script wrapping paper from Ballard Designs cut and rolled, taped, then tied with a little bit of red and white crinkled seam binding.
This cloche was standing empty after the Christmas decorations got put away. Apparently, I don’t have much in Valentine’s Day decorations, so I improvised with what I had.
You could probably leave something like this out all year.
You can find lots of letters and documents free online that you could print off or even use sheet music.
It is, at least, satisfying my need to not have to look at an empty cloche or have to buy something to fill it until Spring/Easter decorating.
Now, I’ve got a red tote on my living room coffee table {that I used for Christmas} calling out for something!

That looks as sweet as sweet can be Kathy. Have a great weekend.
How adorable Kathy! I have an empty cloche too and I just may have to steal your idea. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Gail
What a great idea!!! I don't have a cloche like that but a decorative glass jar would also work.
That is a very sweet idea. I don't do much in the way of valentine's decor, but this is something I could do =)
So very sweet! I would definitely keep that out all year. Too pretty to tuck away.

What a creative idea! Love it!
What a great, romantic idea, Kathy, without being the traditional Valentine's decor. Wow! You came up with a good one! ~Zuni
It's a hit!!
Great ideas!! Thanks !!
Very clever Kathy!
Cute idea..I guess it would be awful to leave something unused ?? :)
That's a great and inexpensive idea! I have an apothecary jar that needs something. Lovin' that touch of hot pink in your header!
Hi Kathy,
Just love you cloche with the rolled papers. Great idea to have them standing up and tied with a touch of red. I really like the inside base too.
You always have great creative ideas.
Have a nice weekend.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
How great, I never would have thought of that! I've never been big on Valentine's decorations but this would be perfect!
Lovely idea Kethy!! You are right, this is something that you can leave in your home all year. Very pretty!!
I must be the only person who doesn't own a cloche. I have to get one soon. I love your simple letters. And, that checkered base is wonderful.
I never can figure out what to put in my cloches. Yes, I have several, but I rarely use them because I'm not creative enough to make them attractive. Your idea with the papers is a really easy, but pretty idea I think even I could copy. Thanks for the suggestion!
What a great idea Kathy...the cloche looks so cute!!!
The rolled papers in the cloche look really pretty! You can definitely leave that out all year.
I haven't even thought about Valentines Day!!
Sweet and simple idea! Love it! Thanks so much for your kind comment on my transfer ware post. :)
I love this idea, Kathy, and really think that I might have to borrow it! The wrapping paper is the perfect alternative to ripping a few pages from one of my books, too! Thanks for sharing.
LOVE this idea Kathy!!
Your cloche is darling. LOVE it!
Those love letters look perfect in your cloche. I love anything with script. Great idea.
I think this is darling~ such a sweet idea!!

I absolutely love this! What a super idea!
Hey Kathy...stopped by to pin your cloche and add it to my FB page...I just keep seeing it and it remeinded me that I should pass it on for you. Saw it on your feature at The Country French Farmhouse. I hope to wrap up my Valentines; Day Mantel to post it. It's been a tedious, two days pulling it together with only things that I already had on hand...trying NOT to spend if I can help it!!!
Have a wonderful weekend :)
Hugs, Janet
