I was inspired by Jennifer at Town and Country Living’s botanic print that she put together and thought I would do a smaller version using a fiber board plaque from the dollar store that I had in with my craft supplies.
The plaque is an odd size 7 1/4 by 9 1/4, so I printed my picture out in 5 x 7 size. I chose an image that I had saved but am pretty sure I found on Pinterest. There are so many great images to find on there, as well as from Karen at The Graphics Fairy.
I had some old French dictionary pages that I received in a swap and used those to cover the plaque with Mod Podge.
Some more Mod Podge on the back of the image and I added that to the center. Done!
I love the sunflower image for this time of year and have added it into my bookcase as Fall décor, although it could stay here year round.
This was a quick and easy project made with things I already had.
Thanks to Jennifer for the inspiration!

Morning, Kathy! Oh, I love this! It does sound easy to do and I love the pages and print you chose. Love those sunflowers! Have a blessed day and you're always a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
It looks great Kathy! I love the sunflower.
I love this, how fun and clever. It looks fabulous.
Kathy, that looks wonderful propped on your shelf!
Lovely Sunflower image and how you put it together. Falling into Autumn Bliss...
I loved Jennifer's print when I saw it and I like your smaller version too. I love using old book pages for projects and am actually making something with old book pages today.
Love that combination for this time of year. :)
I love those sweet and easy projects, Kathy. That turned out really cute and is simple and sweet. xo Diana
LOVE this!! Thanks so much for the shout out, too. The sunflower adds a nice touch of color and I think it's probably easier to Mod Podge the paper onto fiberboard than canvas. Great idea! This makes me want to make more. :)
Hi Kathy, Love your project. It looks great on your book shelves. I just picked up one of those boards with a print from the Dollar Tree too but have not done anything with it yet. Thanks for the inspiration.
Have a great weekend
Hugs
This is beautiful Kathy. Love sunflowers and the French paper as the backing.

Ooh, pretty, Kathy. The French pages background looks great with the sunflower.
Kathy,
I am going to Pin this. I really love the whole idea and I hope I can find everything I need. I have a book of sheet music paper...would that work for the background? It's not very aged looking though, wonder how I could change that. I've never printed anything before. I guess I'm pretty inexperienced all around but I would love to try this!
I think the fairy garden would be fun for "our granddaughters"!! I have a tendency to go overboard with things so I will have to be careful! I've never wanted anything really whimsical in my gardens, I like things a bit natural and rustic, but I guess little ones bring out the child in us! :)
Thanks for popping in!

Very pretty and cute project. Our sunflowers are still going strong outside. =)

Such a cute print, Kathy! This would be a perfect project for me to get down while Olivia naps in the afternoons! I'm really into the sunflower thing right now because of an area rug that I recently bought for my laundry room (I have a post all typed up for my laundry room makeover). Today I finally have a new blog post up about my autumn home decor. I hope you can stop by for a visit! There are a few updated pics of Olivia in that post too. I hope that you and your family are all doing well. I'm sorry I don't visit your blog as often as I used to. I'm sure you understand. Have a wonderful fall Saturday! ~ Jamie
I love that print Kathy. It is one of my favorites by the Graphic fairy. Looks so pretty in your home!
Kathy, Very pretty! I've always loved sunflowers and this is a cute print.
