Quick Seasonal Update

We have a very small entry area here at the condo.  I was able to fit my hall tree here, which gave me a small tabletop, a shelf on the bottom, hooks and a mirror.  Not bad for one piece of furniture!

The lamp and small table just in view to the right have been displaced for the Christmas tree.  Sorry these are so dark, it was cloudy and raining here the morning I took these.

One of the things I purchased this year is this tote bag from Décor Steals.  For Spring and Summer, I filled it with faux lilacs.

For Fall, I filled it with some faux Fall flowers.

Now, for Christmas, I have filled it with some faux Christmas greenery.

I also changed out the “pictures” {old calendar pages} I have hanging across from the hall tree with some pictures I found in my current Cavallini calendar.  This wall is behind the door, so there’s not much I can do in this area.

The reindeer in these made me think of Christmas and it was an easy enough switch to make.  Note: I’m crooked, not the pictures!

I needed a third one, but they only had two reindeer pictures in this calendar.  So I took this one, which for some reason made me think of the 12 Days of Christmas.

These are small and inexpensive changes I can make that bring the different seasons to my small entryway.

Love the changes. You and I are so much alike - trying to use and redo what we have. I like that style of decorating.

Hi Kathy! Your entry is so lovely! Now you are the smartest one to frame the calendar pictures. They look so pretty and vintage. Thanks so much for popping in to see me.

Loved seeing how you changed out your entry hall tree for the seasons. That bag is cute! Might have to make one.

My entry is small too and all I can fit in it is my hall tree. I agree - a hall tree is a fabulous piece for a small space since it serves many purposes.

Hi Kathy, Love your gorgeous entry way. It is such a welcoming spot.
The coat tree is lovely and your idea to change out the tote for the season is such a wonderful idea. Love the pics of 3 and every detail. It is an area with big impact for sure. You are one talented girl.

Have a great day,
Hugs, Celestina Marie

Whew!! Good to know you're not crooked!! (Cute comment you had!). I think your foyer is lovely. I love that you've used the darling bag as a way to "seasonalize" your entry, where you wouldn't have any other options--very clever! And I love the pictures--they're beautiful! I can see why the third one reminded you of the twelve days of Christmas, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have seen that on my own. Good thinkin'!! :)

Cheers coming your way. ~Zuni

It looks lovely, Kathy. It is different when you downsize and move into tighter quarters, isn't it? I'd say you are doing a great job working with your new space- xo Diana

Your foyer may be small, but not small on style. I love the changes you made, very warm and inviting! We are tying to decide if we are putting up a tree, if we do so much furniture will need to be moved, I think I might go smaller too.

Oh it looks wonderful. The hall tree is a fabulous piece for this area and I love the seasonal pictures. I don't have an entry at all, our door opens right into the LR, so I think this is a blessing. Very pretty. Hugs, Marty
