Valentine's & A Vignette

Hello, and Happy Valentine’s Day!  I thought I’d share a couple of the Valentine’s I’ve made for my oldest granddaughter (the 5 year old).  I used a couple of the Altoid tins I keep on hand for altering.

I picked out some vintage and other images that I saved from Pinterest.

I used self-adhesive crafter’s tape to adhere all the papers and used some of those adhesive squares to raise some of the cut-outs up to give them some dimension.

This one will hold some kisses for her.

I also wanted to do one incorporating the plastic springs my hubby saved for me and came up with this one.

I changed up a vignette using a table runner I had made for our old table.  I can’t really use it on our current round table, but it works well on top of the buffet.

Also, I’m working on a Spring/Easter craft and have some needlebooks lined up to make for my Etsy.

Have a “love”~ly day!

Kathy, these are so darn cute I'm pinning to remember. I'm not a very crafty person but this year I'm really inspired by all the wonderful crafts I've seen.

I don't think I'll ever look at a altoid box the same way again. Cute very cute. I so boring I use mine to hold vitamins when I travel. Happy Valentine's!

These little tins are so darn cute, Kathy!! Perfect for candy or a multitude of gifts! I do like the runner over the buffet. I've tried a few different ideas with the many runners I have, I've also tried using some of my scarves.

Hope I haven't missed too many posts---this is the first in a while that I've seen pop up in my email. :)

I was just thinking of you as I was putting together a tablescape (which I'll post on Thursday) and included the cute little painted peat pot I got from you last year. These valentines are adorable- I especially like the one with the pop out little girl int he blue dress. It is the sweetest and a real keepsake!
