More Randomness

I went and got that fabric for my sunroom on Saturday. I just knew they weren’t going to have enough on the bolt ~ and they didn’t.  Let’s hope I figured high on the yardage, but I did ask if they will get more in.  The associate said yes, so fingers crossed she wasn’t fibbin’.

At the check out, I saw these little LED votive candle lights.

For $3.99 for two, I figured they were worth a shot.  You might remember that I put some battery powered white lights in my whites cabinet in the kitchen.  Well, I was getting tired of not being able to put them on because 1. the batteries don’t last long and 2. it seems like half these little strands were out.  I bought a set for each shelf.

I also got my greenery balls that I ordered on Etsy from WdWs Supply.   Great shop ~ in addition to these she also carries pillow forms and fabric.  I added the boxwood balls to my tote and changed that up a little.

I also picked up {when I was getting my fabric} a faux lilac bush.  I stuck it in my new tote.  I don’t know why I’m so taken with purple and lavender flowers this year.

And to counter the faux, I planted the three pink hydrangeas I had picked up at Lowe’s.

They seem to have a pinky purple thing going on.  Once I know they are settled and healthy in their new homes I will cut some of the flowers to bring inside.  This grouping on top is just calling out to be cut!

Okay, back to fluffing the laundry room {and I don’t mean towels!}.  Hubby got my Ballard’s café shelves up for me and I’m setting out all my decorative accessories, hanging things on the wall again and making things pretty.  Love the new wall color and I’ll show that to you soon.  I think it’s the only area of our new condo I haven’t shown you!

Like the lights and the hydrangeas will change colors depending on the amount of iron in your soil.

I know what you mean. I have some of those battery operated candle lights but then I never turn them on for fear the batteries will run down....crazy! Love that fabric! Can't wait to see it up close. I bought fabric from Etsy and it came yesterday, so I am busy sewing away today. I have just enough fabric so I pray I make no mistakes. Hope you are having a fabulous weekend. xo
