Garbage Picking

SONY DSC

Surprise of all surprises, my husband actually texted me a picture of this frame shortly after he left for work yesterday morning.  Someone around the corner from us was throwing it out for our Tuesday trash pick-up.  I stopped to pick it up as I was leaving for an appointment and put it in the back of my car.

Heavy!  Very heavy!  I’m thinking there might have been a mirror in here at one time.  I’d like to see what else went with this frame.  I’m imagining a bedroom set.

It has some very nice detailing and I don’t think I’m going to paint it.  I will probably bring it to my booth just as it is.

At least there will be no surprises when my husband comes home and sees it in the garage!

It is a great free find. I would hang it as it is on a wall. It is pretty sans mirror. Your husband did good. xo, olive

WOW - truly cannot imagine throwing that out - at the very least taking to charity - ? NOT the LANDFILL!

Well I am glad you and your hubs are keeping a watchful eye. Hope it sells fast so the neighbor doesn't spy it in your shoppe, how awkward, huh? LOL.

I love it - it is an absolutely fabulous piece as is for sure.

That was sweet of your husband. It is amazing how many nice things end up in the trash. I would like to enter you giveaway on theselfsufficienthomeacre.com

My favorite item in your Etsy shop is the French rooster tea towel. Your items are beautiful.

What an awesome find. Great idea to hang it as a headboard. The right batting and padding would make it just jump out in a room.

I would love to enter the give away. Your dishtowels and little girl aprons are my favorite things.
