Sweet Hearts

DSC04567_3770

I figured I would pace myself with the first couple of projects for the new year and started out small with a bunch of hearts.

It snowed here on Monday and I took the opportunity to pull out some fabric, make a heart template and got to sewing.

This batch will be making an appearance in my Etsy with more to come.   Plenty of time for Valentine’s Day and I think they would look great out all year long.

Maybe in a grouping in a bowl, or add some ribbon and make a garland, even as a pincushion.

I “heart” hearts!

So Cute - pretty fabrics. Can I ask you a few Etsy questions, because I think I might be considering that? How do people pay you? Do you include shipping in the price of item? Do you use paypal - and if so, is it an easy process? Thanks!

Kathy,
those are so pretty. I'm thinking one would look good hanging on my bedside lamp.

Hi Kathy, your hearts are so sweet and perfect timing for Valentine's Day! I love the little roo one!!! We had snow showers here in Maryland yesterday. The weather finally feels like winter here. It's been usually warm for this time of year. Enjoy your day, Gail

What a darling use for those fabric scraps, Kathy. Everything seems to look better in a collection.

These are cute. I could see making some stuffed with lavender flowers as a scented sachet/ pillow.

The hearts are adorable, but it's the fabric choices that make them especially wonderful. Love all that toile. A pin cushion - how clever! Linda

I adore these hearts Kathy! They would look so pretty hung on branches for Valentine's day or strung together for a banner, or as a table favour for a girlfriends' luncheon. Love them! Angie xo
