Sewing & Creating

I’ve been sewing and creating like a madwoman to revamp and stock up my Etsy shop.  One of my personal goals this year is to 1. make and stock things that I would buy for my own home, and 2. sell those things!

Along those lines, let me share with you what I’ve been so busy working on.

Tea Towels

I would be very pleased and appreciative if, every once in awhile, you might click on my Etsy link on the sidebar and check out what I’ve added.  I’m hoping to add new things every week.  Thank you, my friends!

Good luck on the sales, Kathy!

Pretty pillows.

I'm avoiding purchasing online, trying to anyway, especially when I receive a notice from our tax person that reads the state of CA requires you to report sales and use tax due on any purchases made outside CA (such as ebay, etc or on a vacation) on which you did not pay sales tax at the time of your purchase.

Please bring a list of your total purchases!

It's not that I don't mind paying taxes, but a lot of people don't charge tax and I am NOT going to keep track of EVERYTHING I buy online, although paypal kindly will, that's why they are sending out 1099s.

I don't know all the ins and outs so for now I think I'm going to stick to local fleas . . . I suspect garage sales will need to start collecting tax too in the near future!!

Hi Kathy,
You've created some beautiful things for your etsy shop. I love the Madame and Mr. pillow slips. I've made those too.
Lots of pretties that won't last long for sure. I'm gonna check out your shop right now.
