I found another wood chair at a garage sale recently and decided to paint this one. Here is the before {which I just remembered to take as I started painting}.
I went with Old White chalk paint {mainly because I have it}.
A little sanding and then I applied clear wax and very minimal dark wax.
I like how the details on the back of the chair stand out now. Hopefully someone else will like it, too, because it is now in my booth waiting for a new home!
