My son is due back for a visit for Thanksgiving and this is just the push I need to pay some attention to the guest bathroom. This bathroom vanity has two doors, no drawers.

I read Marty’s post about how she used organizers to better utilize this space in her bathroom. And really, it does wind up being under-utilized because the height is there, but how do you take advantage of it? Ours was not in bad shape, it just had no organization to it and, since this is the bathroom my son uses when he visits, I thought it would be nice to get it neat, functional and organized.

That’s how it looked before. While out one day, I was by Target and decided to pop in and get some drawer organizers.

I wasn’t able to use all three large drawer pieces under the sink {pipes}, but I was able to fit two. The other one found its way into the linen closet. I put all my son’s stuff in one drawer. In another drawer I put some of the granddaughter’s things. On occasion she sleeps over and I have her bath things and a toothbrush. I labeled these drawers.

The other drawers came in handy for the hundreds of hotel bottles and soaps my husband brings home from his business trips. I labeled that drawer “Guest Services”. “Drugstore” is band-aids and medical related needs.

I think this better utilizes this space and organizes it better, too. All that height was going to waste! Thanks to Marty for getting me moving on this!
