New Fabric For A Stool

SONY DSC

The last estate sale I went to I found this stool, which I showed you about a week ago.

SONY DSC

It was in fine shape, except for the fabric.  After removing the seat, I gave the base a good wipe down.  I used some new batting and some fabric I had here to recover the seat.

This is Silver Liang, a toile fabric, that you might remember I used to back the shelves in my one glass fronted cabinet in the kitchen.  You can see it here.

All fresh looking now and ready to move into my booth!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I will be starting my Christmas decorating on Friday so I’ll see you next week!

I have the original stool in my master bath! It's from Target. I absolutely LOVE the fabric that you used, it's gorgeous. It looks so rich, on both the stool and in the cabinet! I'm sure it'll sell fast. Happy Thanksgiving!

Just so lovely, Kathy!!
I have a bench I have to recover that sits at the foot of our bed. Bad thing is that Cooper has gotten used to sleeping on it, thus postponing recovering!! Meh!!!!!

Thanksgiving blessings be yours!!

Becky

Oh, Kath- she looks awesome! You did a GREAT job with this lovely item - it will sell super fast, I know it!

A truly blessed and very Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

I start my Christmas decorating Friday too - my little niece is coming and spending night to help. Yay. It's getting difficult to go up and down the ladder so much, so I will pay HER to do the high stuff. Maybe on Saturday morning I will take her to a store to start her holiday shopping or spend on herself, up to her!

Hugs. Enjoy tomorrow!

Kathy,
Your bench turned out great....love the fabric! I should do a post on the one that I have that's very much like yours. It was one of my lazy, easy no sew quick transformations. I just haven't gotten around to writing a post!
