Yay! My White Slipcover!

After being delayed by snow storms and ice, my white slipcover is done!  I am so happy to share it with you.  My friend The Drapery Lady did such a great job!  Come do the happy dance and jump up and down with me!  Wait ~ if you just had something to eat, maybe we should just go do it over here ~ away from my new slipcover.  Here's the before.

And here it is now!  {I have to steam those burlap tablecloths so ignore the wrinkles}.

I love it!  It looks so much better than the old blue floral ~ don't you think?  I can't think that will be back in style any time soon! When we do wind up moving, I'll be able to use this sofa with whatever decor I choose.  Best of all ~ IT'S WASHABLE!

The room is coming along, slowly but surely, and I will share some pictures of everything I've done to date next week.  I'll be asking for your opinion in my next post.  It deals with the blank space above the sofa.  Even I need an objective opinion sometimes!

Once more:

Okay, gotta go look at my new slipcover again!
I'm sharing my happiness and celebrating with It's So Very Cheri's Celebration linky party, Miss Mustard Seed's Furniture Feature Friday, and Before & After party at Thrifty Decor Chick.

I love the slip covers. I want to do the same thing to some chairs I have, I am just having a hard time paying someone to do it for me or being brave enough to do it myself.

I am so envious of your white slipcover. I want my two red couches slip covered and can't seem to find anyone who does slipcovers here. My hunt continues. May I ask what fabric you chose? Some say use paint cloths and some canvas so I am not sure what would work the best. Yours looks wonderful!

Love it love it love it! I want a white slipcover badly, but with a big black dog and 4 kids (two of which are still little boys), I don't think I want to mess with washing a slipcover everyweek.

So lovely, and I think the burlap tables are the perfect accent!
